The staff were incredibly efficient, making our dining experience in the pub very enjoyable with fantastic service.
The en suite bathroom was impractical with a slippery Japanese-style bath that lacked adequate support, making it difficult for those with mobility issues to use safely.

i had a lovely stay at alma inn & dining rooms. our standard double room was spacious, warm, and clean. the en-suite was well-maintained too. one highlight for me was the excellent range of beers available. it’s set in a perfect spot close to the charming old town, making it easy to explore.
do recommend.

I spent a single night in the Single Room with Garden View and was pleasantly surprised. The room's vintage charm mixed well with modern comforts. The staff greeted me warmly despite a busy day, making me feel instantly at home. Dinner included local ingredients, showcasing brilliantly cooked dishes that had me savoring every bite. I even appreciated the vegetarian breakfast in the morning. it was delightful and fresh. My only gripe was the need for a small table and chair in the room. This would have made it easier to relax with a coffee instead of balancing it on my lap. the staff's commitment to providing a great experience stands out. They'll have me returning for another stay soon!

the 'vintage charm' was ruined when my bathroom floor was dirty and a bad smell lingered in the air. i also requested a room upgrade for my anniversary, but clearly, that request was disregarded completely. honestly, i almost considered giving a good review, but the sorry state of this inn just woudl ve been too good to be true.

We really enjoyed relaxing in a character-filled room with cozy beds and a modern bathroom. Watching boats at the port was a great family experience. Breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. Hubby loved the local plum gin too!
My kids wished for more comfortable mattresses in their room.

A delightful stay with fantastic food!
I had a wonderful stay, enjoying a cool room that had a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Dinner was a highlight, featuring locally sourced dishes that were beautifully cooked, and in the morning, I was treated to a lovely vegetarian breakfast served by cheerful staff. I wished there were more options for dinner since I would have liked to try even more dishes from that tempting menu.
